Drive to Kandy via a spice garden in Matale. Visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic (UNESCO) and enjoy a traditional Kandyan dance performance in the evening.
Day 4 — Nuwara Eliya: Tea Highlands
Scenic mountain drive to Nuwara Eliya through rolling tea estates. Enjoy a tea-plucking experience and high tea at a colonial-era plantation hotel.
Explore the charming town, often called 'Little England' for its cool climate and British colonial architecture.

Travel to Ella and ride (or photograph) the iconic tea-country train. Visit the Nine Arches Bridge and hike to Little Adam's Peak for panoramic views across the valley.
Overnight in Ella.
Day 6 — Yala National Park Safari
Full-day jeep safari at Yala National Park — Sri Lanka's premier wildlife reserve. Look out for leopards, elephants, sloth bears, crocodiles, and over 200 bird species.
Overnight near Yala or Tissamaharama.
